Trinidad and Tobago to host Caribbean Public Procurement Conference

Trinidad and Tobago will host the 2008 Caribbean Public Procurement (Law & Practice) Conference at the newly opened Hyatt Regency on March 19 and 20.

The first of its kind in the Commonwealth Caribbean, the two-day conference will bring together some of the world’s leading faculty in the field of public procurement law and practice, including senior experts from the World Bank.

More than 100 participants from around the Commonwealth Caribbean are expected to attend the event.

The Caribbean Association of Procurement Professionals will also be launched at the conference, which is expected to draw Government Ministers, Developers, and Policy Makers from around the region.
